Very nice cat photo with very good focus and DOF. Look at the eyes - they are maybe the only thing completely on focus, and this is very good. It draws the attention the right place. The composition is very good too.

I like this photo - it shows the beauty of the cats' eyes. In this photo for example it's shown the eye of a black cat. I think that the saturation is increased for surе.

An ordinary domestic cat

Look at that photo - an ordinary domestic cat doing ordinary things. But you see that on the second look. On the first look all you see is a damn good photo of a cat. And how the photographer did that effect? It's all about composition and right colors on the right places. The background does not disturb from the main object - the cat. Think about it.

Introduction

This blog is dedicated to pictures of cats found on Flickr, as it's said in the title. We'll post pictures with good photography value, which you can use for examples how to take good cat pictures.
Make attention of the exposure, the light, where exactly is the focus and the DOF. Also make attention of the composition and the pose of the dog. I hope will all make better pictures.
